I have been checking dice.com, monster.com, and other tech job boards for jobs related to SQL Server development. I am really surprised that lots of companies are really looking for SQL Server Reporting Services developers to do their reports. This task is usually done by the in-house developer/programmer or, in many companies, by the SQL Server Database Administrator. But some companies do not have a dedicated developer or database administrator. This is the main problem of small companies – not having a staff to do SQL Server Report development. Another obstacle is the cost involved in building an enterprise grade reporting system.
This is where I come in. I have enough experience to build a reporting environment at a reasonable cost for small companies struggling on their reporting system initiatives.
